The School Uniform for Richard Coates CE School is as follows:

White Polo Shirt (crested optional)
Grey Skirt/Trousers
Burgundy Jumper/Cardigan with school crest
Grey/white/black tights or socks
Black leather shoes
School crested coat
Book Bag
PE Kit
White T-shirt
Black shorts
White ankle socks
Outdoor – Ponteland Rugby Shirt (yellow with black hoop), black shorts, yellow football socks.
Optional (outside winter only) – black jogging bottoms, plain with no zips, and PE department hooded top.
Football boots for Rugby and Football
Mouth guards and shin guards are strongly recommended for rugby, hockey and shin guards for football.

  • Jewellery, other than an inexpensive watch, is not allowed
  • No earrings are allowed
  • Any pupil wearing earrings, bracelets, rings, necklaces etc. will be asked to remove them.
