Just a reminder that we are celebrating World Book Day next Thursday (5th March 2020). Pupils are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character and the book fair will be in school all next week. Pupils will take part in a variety of activities with their class teacher.

1719 - 2019 Celebrating 300 years of Richard Coates CE Primary School with a mosaic dedicated to the man himself - Richard Coates, the ship builder who pledged money in his will to the formation of this school. I bet he would be proud of the school today!

Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a brilliant STEM workshop with Newcastle University Street Scientists! @PeleTrust @NUStreetScience

We are pleased to report that our school has received 15 trees from the Woodland trust. This is charity funded by the postcode lottery, Sainsbury%26#039;s and Yorkshire tea. Pupils from the school gardening club (year%26#039;s 2 %26amp; 3) have planted the trees around the KS1 outside space.
