Wear Yellow for World Mental Health Day

October 10, 2018

Dear Parent/Carer
As a school we actively support and promote the development of good mental health in children and young people.
We would like to join the charity ‘Young Minds’ by asking children to come to school  wearing yellow on Wednesday 10th October – World Mental Health Day. We want to show young people that they’re not alone when it comes to their mental health. Throughout the day we will be promoting the importance of talking about feelings, and listening and supporting each other when we face problems.
We would also like to invite voluntary donations of £1.00 per pupil and we will use this money to fund interventions and strategies that promote positive mental health development in school.
Thank you for your support.
