Nursery Admissions

The Governing Body of Richard Coates Voluntary Aided Church of England School is the Admissions Authority for the school and operates admissions in accordance with the School Admissions Code 2014. The Governing Body welcomes applications for admission and they intend to admit up to 60 pupils into Reception in September 2018.

Applying for a Nursery placement

“Acorns” Nursery at Richard Coates provides early education for children aged three to five years and offers opportunities to play and learn through structured activities. Children are usually admitted the term after their third birthday, however, if you feel your child is ready to start as soon as they turn three, we are happy to discuss this with you. We are felxible with the sessions and have a range of different options that can work for you and your family’s circumstances. We also offer flexible sessions to add onto your free 15 hours entitlement.

We also have sessions available for children who qualify for 30 hours provision for 3/4 year olds.  You can find out more information about this provision using the link below:
